Il est coutume de dire que la Chine inquiète autant qu’elle fascine, qu’elle est à la fois l’usine et le marché du monde, qu’elle s’ouvre au business mais pas aux droits de l’Homme… Tout va très vite au pays du Milieu. Cependant nous observons ces grands bouleversements avec notre regard d’Européens sans chercher à en comprendre les ressorts. Notre vision de la Chine et des Chinois est passéiste, souvent exotique ou dogmatique, rarement culturelle ou sociale. Il existe bien un paradoxe Chinois qu'il faut décrypter.

 

It is customary to say that China worried as it is fascinating, it is both the factory and the market of the world, it opens to the business but not to human rights ... Everything goes very fast in the country of the Middle. However we observe these upheavals with our eyes of Europeans without trying to understand the springs. Our vision of China and Chinese is backward-looking, often exotic or dogmatic, often cultural or social. There is indeed a Chinese paradox that must be deciphered.
